We want our customers to know almost all our crosses and centers come from Europe which is why our prices are what they are. Some are custom-made for us in the USA and in Asia. Our beads come from the Czech Republic, India or Israel.

It is our policy to clearly label country-of-origin on all our products so you know what you are paying for! Many online sellers do not list country-of-origin of their goods because they don't want you to know all their products come from China!

Although we have avoided carrying these non-traditional supply goods until now, the financial difficulties in Europe have meant our Italian suppliers are not taking on any new lines of production and have, in fact, cut back considerably on what they do produce. Additionally they have handed us hefty price increases for the Fall of 2011!

In order to carry popular bronze-finish items we have had no other supply choice but to look at Asian-made goods. We have, however, reviewed many samples from many suppliers and upheld our quality standards and content restrictions (no lead, no nickel, no cadmium) so you can purchase from our site with the same confidence as before!

Unfortunately the Made-in-China label which is becoming more and more prevalent in all consumer goods (clothing, electronics, etc) is being helped by the financial crunch in Europe!

Our primary source is European, but when there is no other source for what we are looking for we will consider Asian-made. However, we label all our items so the choice is up to you!

 

We have made a diligent effort to contact all our suppliers for information concerning the metal content of their products. We understand that many countries are now enforcing regulations concerning the acceptable levels of both lead and nickel. All of our suppliers have assured us that their standard manufacturing practices comply with these regulations.
